• BRIMLEY STATE PARK. 9200 West 6 Mile Road, Brimley. (906) 248-3422. 270-site modern campground with large, grassy campsites, a mini-cabin, and a swimming beach on Lake Superior's Whitefish Bay. Brimley has the warmest swimming water of any state park located on the usually frigid Lake Superior. Anglers fish the bay for northern pike and walleye.
