Christmas Paradise is a cozy year round vacation home on the shores of Lake Superior in the village of Christmas, Michigan in the north central Upper Peninsula. The cottage has two-bedrooms and is within walking distance of Lake Superior, restaurants, shopping, and the casino. The town of Munising is only 3 miles east of the cottage for the spectacular Pictured Rocks Lakeshore, Grand Island, cruises, kayaking, and other interesting things to see and do.

Christmas Paradise has comfortable furnishings and complete kitchen containing what you need to prepare your meals. There is a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking and nice deck on the on the back of the cottage with outdoor furniture, very inviting for warm weather guests.

There are two bedrooms with beds that sleep 6 guests. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed and the upstairs loft contains a double bed and two twin beds. All linens, towels, and bedding are supplied for guests but you need to bring your own beach towels. The bathroom contains a  tub/shower combination and there is sauna with a wood stove and shower.

The Lake Superior shoreline is only 350’ from the back of the cottage.  Sit by the water or get your toes wet in the refreshing water.

The Christmas Paradise Cottage is an ideal location for visiting the unique Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Go hiking, see Miners Castle, take one of the cruises, or rent a pontoon boat and enjoy the lake at your leisure. Enjoy the many area waterfalls, some can be seen from your car or are just a short walk, while others take you on a nice trail through the forests.

WINTER IN CHRISTMAS 
Winter brings lots of snow to the Christmas area in Alger County where you will find miles and miles of groomed snowmobile trails that connect all over the Upper Peninsula. Bring your sled and snowmobile from your door or there is snowmobile rental in the area. There are wonderful cross-country ski trails at the Pictured Rocks or the Valley Spur ski trails and many places for snowshoeing.

RATES:

Summer and Fall Rates (May – October):

• July & August are full week rentals from Saturday to Saturday
• Daily rental with a 3 night minimum or weekly
• The daily rate is $225 a night plus $100 cleaning fee and applicable taxes and fees

Winter and Spring Rates (November – April):

• Daily rental with a 3 night minimum or weekly
• The daily rate is $175 a night plus $100 cleaning fee and applicable taxes and fees
