Badwater Ski-Ters Water-Ski Show, Held at Vagabond Park on the Menominee River in Spread Eagle, Wisconsin, the Badwater Ski-Ters Water-Ski Show location is just 5 miles west of Iron Mountain, Michigan. Shows take place on Wednesdays and Sundays at 6 p.m. during the summer. Awesome barefooting, swivel skiing, ballet line, strap and conventional doubles, and the exciting pyramids. Always Fun!   • Travel through the State and National Forest on one of the forest roads, or follow the clearly marked walking trails. Enjoy the woods and beautiful wildflowers as you make your way to a secluded lake or stream.
  • Explore some of Northern Wisconsin’s many lakes and streams. These waters are the ideal place for skiing, canoeing, swimming, boating or kayaking. Two designated “Wild Rivers” (the Popple and the Pine) wander through the woods almost undisturbed by man.
  • Hike down short trails to scenic waterfalls or have a picnic at one of the convenient spots along the way.
  • Keep your eyes open for a glimpse of some of the many birds and animals that reside here. You might even see a bald eagle soaring overhead.
  • Explore the 33,000 acre Whisker Lake Federal Wilderness area, but please don’t feed the bears.
  • Explore the museums and antique shops in Northern Wisconsin and get a glimpse of Wisconsin’s past.
  • Wisconsin is home to the largest number of Native American tribes and bands east of the Mississippi River. Experience this rich culture and heritage dating back thousands of years.
  • Stop in Green Bay and visit Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, and don’t miss an opportunity to explore the Packer Hall of Fame.
  • Enjoy some of our famous Wisconsin cheese or try some delicious maple syrup. Pick some of the many wild berries that grow along the roadside. Dine at one of the many restaurants, most feature the traditional Friday Fish Fry.
  • State and National Forest Trails are also open in the winter for cross-country skiing enthusiasts!
