Grand Island remains a scenic wilderness protected by the Hiawatha National Forest and is located about ½ mile from the shoreline in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. View sandstone cliffs and rock formations, caves, sandy beaches, waterfalls, and wildlife. The narrated tour tells you about the Native Americans who lived there for thousands of years, the fur traders that settled the island and traded with the Ojibwa, and interesting features about this beaut iful island.
