Summer Fun at Wildman Adventure Resort

Join us in the summer for Whitewater Rafting on the exciting Peshtigo or Menominee Rivers. We raft the Roaring Rapids section on the Peshtigo River, the longest continuous stretch of rapids in the Midwest. These are Cla ss III rapids in the summer, but come for the spring snow run-off in April and May when they reach the level of Class IV rapids. The Peshtigo River Outpost is located between Crivitz and Lakewood on the shores of the Peshtigo River. At this outpost we have Stand Up Paddle Boarding on a remote lake, Kayak Lake Tour, Whitewater Rafting, and an Alpine Tower High Ropes Course with a Giant Swing.

Go rafting in our multi-person rafts, single person Thrill Cats or a Fun Yak. We also offer whitewater rafting at Piers Gorge on the Menominee River, just south of Iron Mountain, MI. Here you will experience Class IV rap ids, some of the largest volume rapids in the Midwest. Ride these challenging rapids in our 8-10 person self-bailing raft!

Lodging at Wildman Adventure Resort

We have everything from tent camping, rustic style log cabins, a pacific style Yurt, and deluxe cabins! Our rustic cabins can sleep up to five and have heat and electricity. Our Yurt has a queen sized bed, pull out couch, fridge, and sky light at the top.

The Deluxe cabins turn camping into glamping! Perfect for groups that would prefer to adventure with a few more creature comforts such as a full kitchen, private bathrooms, and T.V.

Our guests are also provided with free wireless internet! Enjoy the sights and sounds of the river while walking the hiking trail along the Peshtigo River!

Located just south of Norway, MI in the central Upper Peninsula of 6 miles east of Niagara, Wisconsin, our great outdoor adventures await you with whitewater rafting through Class 4 Piers Gorge, Bombers 9 hole Golf Course, Ziplining, Paintba ll, Rock Climbing and Rappelling on a real rockface!

Our Menominee River Outpost offers a Zipline Tour that consists of 5 ziplines platform to platform, it's a total of 1900 of line! We also have 2 rental cabins on the shores of the Menominee River that sleep up to 6 guests. Enjoy a light meal or refreshment s at Bombers Bar.
