Housekeeping Cabins on South Manistique Lake in Curtis in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, just 65 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge. Southlake Cabins are located on the north shore of South Manistique Lake, 1/4 mile west of Curtis. ( Map)

There are 8 modern 1, 2, & 3 bedroom housekeeping cabins that are fully equipped for your use. Each cabin has a full bath, cooking utensils, dinnerware, large refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, flat screen TVs, linens, blankets, pillows, picnic table, charcoal BBQ grill, and lawn chairs. There is a fire ring for your campfire. Please bring your own bath towels, dish towels and paper products.

14' aluminum boats and motors are available for an additional charge. Contact for pricing. Extra boat and motor rentals are available. There is a nice beach for swimming and a dock for sunning and relaxing. There is also a screened fish house.

South Manistique Lake is ideal fishing year round for walleye, northern pike, perch, large and small mouth bass and an abundance of panfish. There are many trout streams nearby. Late May and June are the best times for Pike and Walleye. Perch fishing is good almost anytime.

 

All cabins are rented weekly during the summer, Memorial Day to Labor Day.
After Labor Day, three night minimum

The Manistique Lakes area is great for fishing, hunting, boating, canoeing, hiking, biking, swimming, water skiing, sightseeing and just plain relaxing.
