Mr. Bear was carved by Wood working Artists Cliff Bawden and Jon Mykkanen and the John Ruusi Lathe Woodworking Class that took place at Pine Crest Northwoods the summer of 2009. | | Mr. Bear was carved from
          a a 150 year
old White Pine tree that had to come down because
the top flew off and the bark exploded leaving this
wonderful carving of Mr. Bear for everyone to
enjoy. You can contact Jon Mykkanen at 906-376-8057
for information about his unique chain saw
        carvings.
