Manilak Resort is located 2 miles N. of Curtis, Michigan on H-33. We offer both Chalet and Ranch Style homes, 2-4 bedrooms which sleep 4-8 comfortably. All homes have Woodburning Fireplaces, carpeting, double or queen beds, full baths, fully equipped kitchens, television, charcoal grills, picnic tables, and decks overlooking the Lake. Rentals include all bed, bath & kitchen linens and a 14 ft. aluminum rowboat. We now have laundry facilities.

Our Lakefront units are all spaced for privacy. The beach offers an extensive swim area, a landscaped play and activity area, with Basketball, Volleyball, Horseshoes and yard games for your pleasure. Grocery Stores, Gift & Craft Shops, Restaurants, Gas Stations, Bait Shops, Marina and Sporting Goods stores are all within 2 miles of Manilak.

Tennis courts and Golf Courses are minutes away. Historical sites and scenic attractions like the Seney National Wildlife Refuge, Seul Choix Lighthouse, Big Spring, Tahquamenon Falls, Soo Locks, Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks, and Lake Michigan are all within an hour's drive from Manilak.

In the Spring, Trout Season gets underway on the last Saturday in April. Walleye and Northern Pike open on May 15th. Bass season opens the last Saturday in May. The Perch are also very hungry so come and catch your share. The Trillium in full bloom make the woods appear to be covered with fresh fallen snow. The roadside and the woods have all the Wildflowers popping through the soil, while the birds are chirping everywhere. It's also fun to hunt for the famous Morel Mushrooms found in Manilak's woods.

In the Summer, lovely warm days are filled with activities. Fish & swim in our clear water and sand bottom lake, water-ski, bask in the sun on the landscaped beach, bike ride, hike or travel to the many scenic places around the Upper Peninsula.Your evenings can be spent around our lakeside campfire under star-filled skies, chatting with the group of friendly folks that frequent Manilak. The best part of all is the feeling of total relaxation.

Our Fall color season is the best that there is anywhere. Hunters, Manilak Resort is adjacent to state hunting ground, where deer, black bear, grouse, squirrel, duck, and geese move in abundance. Fishing is great for jumbo perch and walleye. Fall salmon fishing is outstanding and just a short drive from Manilak Resort. The blueberries are ripe and ready for picking.

In Wintertime, leave from your door, enjoy many miles of groomed trails for snowmobiling. If the need arises we have a heated repair area for your use. X-Country Skiers are delighted with the many miles of groomed trails nearby. Ice Fishing is great. The Walleye, Perch and Northern Pike provide many memorable experiences. Both Indoor Ice Rink and Outdoor Skating are close by.
