On the Shores of the Manistique Lakes
at Curtis, MI in the spectacular Upper Peninsula. The six bedroom lodge with 2 bathrooms
on South Manistique Lake sleeps 18 comfortably.
The main floor of the lodge has an open concept living area with cable TV and a gas fireplace. The recreation room feaatures a wood-burning fireplace, pool table, and a foosball table. The complete kitchen includes a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher. The lodge also has a washer and dryer for your convenience.
There are four bedrooms on the main floor with a full bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed; the second bedroom has a double bed and a crib with a sliding door to the patio; and the other two bedrooms have a double bed in each bedroom.
There are two bedrooms on the second floor with a double bed in one bedroom and a double bed and two twin beds in the other bedroom. A bathroom with a shower is also on the second floor. A pontoon boat is available to rent with the cabin.
Curtis is a unique waterfront village, surrounded by the three large Manistique Lakes. These lakes, with over 15,000 acres of water, provide unlimited family recreational opportunities. Curtis is also located near a network of rivers and trout streams. There are hundreds of miles of groomed trails for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. You can also go ice fishing for Walleye in December and Northern Pike and Perch in February.
The fabulous Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore; The natural beauty of the lower and upper Tahquamenon Falls; Big Springs (Kitch-iti-kipi), known to the indians as the mirror of heaven; Seul Choix Lighthouse, Park and Museum, known locally as "the haunted lighthouse"; Mackinac Island; The Soo locks; the Seney National Wildlife Refuge; Grand Sable Falls and Sand Dunes in Grand Marais; Fayette Historic State Park; Whitefish Point Lighthouse, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Whitefish Point Bird Observatory and Whitefish Point Underwater Diving Preserve. Golfers will enjoy golfing at the the Newberry Country Club just a few miles north of the Lodge. Pets welcome with prior approval.
