Fishing:
Limit catches of Walleye are common on our uncrowded 2,000 acre lake and nice size Perch. Many an angler has had the thrill of reeling in large Northern Pike. Bass seem to bite best first thing in the morning or in the evening. Winter brings some excellent ice fishing. For the Trout angler, nearby lakes and streams provide Brook, Brown and Rainbow. Spring brings exceptional Smelt and Steelhead runs. In the Fall many streams are crowded with Salmon.

State, corporate and federal (Seney Wildlife Refuge, 96,000 acres) lands provide miles of wild wilderness forest for hunting Deer, Bear, Ruffed Grouse, Snowshoe Hare, ducks, Woodcock and Geese. Ducks are numerous on Milakokia Lake.
