Angel Island Hideaway is located on the shore of Sixteen Mile Lake in the Hiawatha National Forest, 11 miles west of Munising, MI in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Angel Island View is a year round upper level vacation home with three bedrooms, 2 baths, and is smoke free. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and full bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a full sized bed and bunk beds with a full sized bed on the bottom and a twin on the top. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds with a bathroom between the bedrooms. Sleeps 6-8. Linens are provided
The living room overlooks 16 Mile Lake and Angel Island. This comfortable room is furnished with a couch, love seat, and recliners. There is Satellite TV with a 45" screen, VCR, DVD, and stereo. Forced air heat will keep you comfortable on those cool evenings. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and necessary cooking utensils. The Sunroom has 5 large windows giving you a great view of the lake and the Hiawatha National Forest.
The lakefront offers a sand beach for swimming. Great for the kids as it doesn't get too deep, or you can swim to the 8' raft anchored just off shore. Bring all those water toys and get ready for some water fun. 16 Mile Lake is large enough for your fishing boat, ski boat, or wave runner. There is a 25' L shaped dock for the boats, sunbathing, or fishing, We provide a 12' boat, 14' canoe, and a paddle boat for you to use on the lake. Adult life jackets are provided. Take out one of the boats and row or paddle around the shoreline or go out to Angel Island and enjoy this beautiful wooded area. Try your luck fishing. 16 Mile Lake has pike, large mouth bass, tiger musky, cat fish, and pan fish. There is a fire pit by the lake for a campfire under the stars or roasting marshmallows. Firewood is provided for your bonfire. Sit down by the lake, relax, and watch the stars overhead.

Angel
Island View is only a short drive from Munising so you can relax in
comfort and enjoy all the nearby attractions and recreational
opportunities the area has to offer. Munising is the western entrance
to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and the beautiful sandstone
cliffs, with many interesting places to visit and wonderful hiking
opportunities. Pine Marten Horse Trail nearby. Stop at the Visitor
Center at the blinking light in Munising for information and maps.
Winter brings many recreational opportunities with cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling. Angel Island View is on the snowmobile trails so you can leave from the cottage and head out for a great ride. Don't have a sled? Snowmobile rental in AuTrain or Munising. Excellent cross country ski trails nearby for lovers of the silent sports.
