Formally known as the Timber Ridge Lodge and Motel, the Timer Ridge Inn has gone under new ownership, and soon will be going under renovation! The Timber Ridge was originally opened in 1984, and catered to snowmobilers. Now a days, the Timber Ridge, is open all year round and is a perfect setting in all seasons! Located ten miles away from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and the town of Munising, Michigan. The Timber Ridge Inn is surounded by the Hiawatha National Forest and local trail systems. ATV/ORV, snowmobilers, and anyone who loves outdoor activities will love the location of the Timber Ridge Inn! Be it summer, winter, spring or fall, we can guarantee you'll fall in love with the Upper Peninsula
The motel offers a variety of amenities at our private lodging to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. In all rooms, we provide complimentary high-speed internet access, cable T.V., ample parking for trailers, mini fridges, microwaves, and toasters. Other amenities at the motel include a sauna and game room, lake front balconies, access to trail 7 and 1,200 miles of off-roading trails near by. With food and gas less than a half mile away, the Timber Ridge Inn is a perfect location as well as convienient when traveling up to the UP.
Local attractions and activities include the following: Hiawatha National Forest, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, 200 waterfalls near by, Lake Superior, food trucks and local breweries in town. Winter/Fall Sports include hunting (November &December), snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, ice climbing, ice caves, hiking, dog sled rentals. Spring/Summer activities include ATV/ORV riding, hiking, biking, trail riding horseback, rock climbing, kayaking, boat tours and rentals, swimming, fishing, star gazing and bird watching. 4 suites have a queen bed and one sofa sleeper. 3 suites have 2 queen beds, 2 suites have 2 full beds and a sofa sleeper. Extra cots available in all suites.

The Timber Ridge Inn also has a
sauna, recreation room with pool table, free boat usage,
ample parking for trailers. If you don't feel like cooking,
the Buckhorn Restaurant and Bar is only a quarter of a mile
away.
If cross country skiing is on your mind, we're only minutes away from one of the best cross country ski trails in the Great Lakes Region. Other winter activities include dog sledding, ice fishing and snowshoeing After a full day enjoying the brisk outdoors you can warm up in our sauna and rest up in our cozy motel suites or lodge.

the Alger Preserve Timber Ridge Inn is located a few
minutes southwest of Munising. Take M-94 southwest
of Munising, turn onto Buckhorn Road and stay to
the left. We are located just a couple miles down
the road. Timber Ridge can also be reached from Federal
