The Art of the Forge
George Potvin (1944-2024) worked with iron since age thirteen, creating wonderful items in his blacksmith shop. His **hand-forged and completely handmade knives with sheaths** were truly unique.
George Potvin, an incredible person, Blacksmith, and Bladesmith, passed away on December 8th, 2024. His legacy lives on.
George taught classes in basic blacksmithing, scrimshaw, heat-treating blades, Damascus blade-making,etc.
HE HUNG A SIGN ON HIS HOME FORGE JUST BEFORE HIS PASSING.
