Ten Mile Creek Forge and Gift Shop is located almost 7 miles due north of Bark River, Michigan. It is a pleasant drive through the countryside (there are arrows on every sign). Watch for our sign at the blinking light on Highway US-2 &am p; US-41 in the town of Bark River and follow the signs to the Ten Mile Creek Forge and Gift Shop.

You will be amazed by this wonderful collection of artwork, mostly created by residents of the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
GEORGE POTVIN BLACKSMITH and BLADESMITH Visitors can sometimes see George at work in his forge! These demonstrations are free of charge. George also demonstrates his blacksmith techniques at many events throughout the year. He heads up the U. P. Steam and Gas Engine Antique Village Blacksmith Shop located on the State Fairgrounds at Escanaba. He demonstraits h is skills during Fair Days, Labor Day, Christmas in the Village, and other events held there. Fayette State Park Heritage Day is an annual event that he also enjoys. Other demonstrations are scheduled during the year. |
