The Art of the Forge
George Potvin (1938-2024) worked with iron since age thirteen, creating wonderful items in his blacksmith shop. His **hand-forged and completely handmade knives with sheaths** were truly unique.
George Potvin, an incredible person, Blacksmith, and Bladesmith, passed away on December 8th, 2024. His legacy lives on.
His daughter, Becky, is an accomplished blacksmith and copper smith, who started working by her father's side at age 7. Her beautiful items are also available in the gift shop.
Handmade Knives & Forged Items
Examples of past work include: Sandabar Stag (imitation amber with brass hilt/pommel), Old Marble's reclaimed blade, Primitive Pukko, Green Tiger Maple Knife, and examples of George's hand-done Scrimshaw. We also feature miniature axes by Dave McKnight (Marble Arms Style).
