The Tanglewood Trail House is a recently remodeled 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation home on Highway M-28, 10 miles east of Munising. The vacation home will sleep up to 10 guests, so pack up your family or friends and enjoy a great v acation in the Munising area. Open Year Round The Tanglewood Trail House has a comfortable living room with Roku TV, a dining area with a snack bar, and a complete kitchen with what you need for cooking and dining. There is wireless internet throughout the house and a deck with table and chairs for relaxing.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The other two bedrooms each have a queen bed with a common bathroom. Bed linens and towels are furnished for out guests, but please bring your own paper products.
The Tanglewood Trail House is centrally located for visiting many places in the Upper Peninsula. Head up to Grand Marais or Munising for sandy swimming beaches where you can sit in the sand and enjoy the nice day. Hike in the S eney National Wildlife Refuge or for something less active, take the 7 mile Marshland Wildlife drive and stop at one of the observation decks and see the wildlife through the spotting scope. Add a little to the drive and tour the Seul Choix Lighthouse and climb the tower. Lots of fun things to see and do in Munising: Cruise along the Pictured Rocks, see sunken shipwrecks, or paddle along the rocks on a sea kayak tour. Stoll on the Lake Superior sand beaches in Munising and Grand Marais, visit the museums, or the interesting areas of the Pictured Rocks. Try canoeing and kayaking or try your luck fishing on nearby lakes and rivers. Check out the stunning fall colors, go cross-country skiing in Munising or the Seney Wildlife Refuge, or ice climbing for the adventuro u Pickup a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants and wander through our interesting shops. The Tanglewood Trail House is located on trail #8, one of the main trails throughout the Upper Peninsula. There are hundreds of groomed trails waiting for ATV and snowmobile riders and plenty of room for your trailers. The Tanglewood Inn Restaurant and Bar is open daily serving from 7am to 8pm.
