Located along the south shore of Lake Superior (Gitchee-Gumee), the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore extends 37 miles eastward from Munising to Grand Marais, a colorful weather "carved" expanse of forest-topped rocks. For over fifty years Pictured Rocks Boat Cruises has provided thousands of visitors the unforgettable experience of seeing these incredible formations up close in comfort and safety. |

The cruise passes points such as Lovers Leap, Grand Portal, Miners Castle, and Indian Head. We offer one cruise daily that includes beautiful Spray Falls. These rock sculptures are described with legend and lore by your captain. The boat slowly cruises close to some of the rocks so that you may take outstanding photos. The boat travels 18 miles along the lakeshore and turns around at Chapel Rock.
Stop by our large gift shop for unusual gifts, sweatxhirts, "T" shirts, books, nautical items, and lighthouse collectibles.

Sunset
Cruise
See Schedule below for departure Times.
The Sunset Cruise takes you past the old East Channel
Light
as you cruise along the rock formations on Grand Island
and
enjoy the setting sun as it shines on the Pictured Rocks.
A wonderful evening on the water.
The East Channel Light on the southeast shore of Grand Island, built in 1869-1870, directed ships past the dangerous shoal of Sand Point. Improved range lights were built in 1908 and the East Channel Light was finally abandoned in 1913.
