The wonderful arge deck by the lakeside is ideal for relaxing, catching a little sun, reading, or having a meal. There are charcoal and gas grills for guests to use. Sit around the campfire and enjoy the night sky over the lake. We hav e two long docks, one for fishing boats and the other for sunning and swimming. The water has a sand bottom and is nice and shallow for the children. There is a badminton net in a sandy area and a basketball hoop for practicing those long shots. The Lakeside biking-walking trail goes right by the cabins for your stroll along the water’s edge. Norhwoods Cabins offers 10 vacation apartments for your summer vacation on the lake. Each vacation apartment offers comfortable furnishings with Cable TV. The kitchen contains a coffee maker, microwave, full-size appliances, pots & p ans, dishes, and silverware. Northwoods Cabins provides a limited supply of linens, but please bring your towels. |

WINTER: Unit #7 is available for year round rentals. Northwoods Cabins is located directly across from the Chassell-Houghton Rail Trail. Enjoy fall, winter, and spring in the beautiful Keweenaw. Check out the stunning fall color, go snowmobiling from the door, down hill skiing and snowboarding at Mount Ripley, and miles and miles of groomed cross-country ski trails for all abilities. |

The Northwoods Cabins is centrally located for enjoying all this area has to offer. Take a tour of the Quincy Mine, visit the waterfalls, tour the lighthouses in Copper Harbor and Eagle Harbor, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery.
