Bear’s Nine Pines Resort on Lake Gogebic

Nine Pines Resort has 9 comfortable 1, 2, & 3 bedroom housekeeping cabins on Lake Gogebic. All the cabins have comfortable furniture, satellite TVs, VCRs, and complete kitchens. Bed linens are furnished, but please bring your own soaps and towels. The three bedroom cabins have a gas fireplace and dishwasher. Some cabins have a deck overlooking the lake, a hot tub, and are air-conditioned. There are grills and picnic tables for your outdoor cooking and dining.

The well maintained grounds around the cabins are the perfect place for horseshoes, tether ball, hoops, volleyball, sitting on the swing set or just relaxing with your favorite book of magazine. Sit around the large fire pit and visit or roast hot dogs or marshmallows. We provide the wood for wonderful campfires by the lake.

Lake Gogebic is a wonderful spot for boating, water skiing, tubing, and fishing. The waterfront at Nine Pines Resort has 4 docks for boats or fishing, a concrete boat ramp, and a nice swimming area with a raft. There is a paddle boat for gu
ests to use to explore the lake. Bring your boat or you can rent fishing boats, pontoon boats, canoes, or a kayak for some fun on Lake Gogebic, the largest inland lake in the Upper Peninsula.

Fishing is great for walleye, smallmouth bass, jumbo perch, and northern pike. Bear is a Michigan Licensed professional fishing and hunting guide for those who would like his services. He will also let you know where you might catch that “Big One”. Our Bait & Tackle Shop offers artificial and live bait and gear. We carry hunting and fishing licenses and Trail permits. There is a year round fish cleaning house and large freezer for storing your catch.

Fall is a wonderful time to view the gorgeous color and hike the many nearby trails. Weather is a little cooler making your outdoor adventure comfortable. Nearby waterfalls beckon the photographer and nature lovers.
Hunters will find hundreds of acres of public land for hunting birds, bear, whitetail deer, and small game. Head out into the woods, or contact “Bear” Drew, a Michigan licensed guide, for a guided hunt.

Winter Fun at Bears Nine Pines Resort
We have easy trail access to over 1000 miles of groomed trails so start planning a great winter vacation. Snowmobile rentals nearby. Cross country ski trails are nearby and there are several areas for downhill skiing and snowboardin g near Ironwood. Ice fishing is right outside your cabin door. We have ice fishing gear available for rent.
