Michigamme Shores Campground is a family friendly camping resort with a nice 1000’ sandy beach for water fun. There are picnic tables on the beach and a playground for the kids. Enjoy boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimm ing, and biking or try out our beach volleyball court, basketball court, or the tennis courts with rental equipment available.

Michigamme Shores Campground offers a variety of wooded and lakefront sites for your RV, camper, or tent. We offer a wide selection of hookups including full hookup, electric/water, and electric only sites. Our tent sites are located thr oughout the campground and include a picnic table and a fire pit. There are modern restrooms and hot showers with laundry facilities available. The town of Michigamme is just a few miles from the campground for shopping an d dining.

Camping Cabins
Our camping cabins have a bunk bed and a twin bed inside with a nice swing on the porch.
Each cabin has a picnic table and a fire pit by the cabin.

The Camp Store is stocked with groceries, camping supplies, snacks, licenses, bait, tackle, firewood, ice, and LP gas.

Great recreation at Michigamme Shores Campground. We have tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts or horseshoe pits with rental equipment available. Our sandy beach is great for swimming and relaxing or rent one of our pontoon boats, canoes, kayaks, or paddle boats and have fun on Lake Michigamme, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Upper Peninsula. Great fishing for bass, walleye, pike, perch, and panfish. If you bring your own boat, there is a boat launch nea rby and we offer docking facilities.

The campground is conveniently located near hiking and biking trails and is a great location for birding and wildlife watching.
