Lazy Cedars is a comfortable log cabin nestled on 30 private wooded acres 1 mile north of Blaney Park in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Lazy Cedars is centrally located for enjoying the outdoors, visiting the many attractions, re laxing in the beauty of the Upper Peninsula.

The open concept living area has vaulted ceilings, comfortable furnishings, a TV with DVD player, and  a large stone gas fireplace. Sit around the fire and enjoy this lovely log cabin.The kitchen has full-size applia nces, a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Laundry with a washer and dryer.

The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and there is a queen bed and a full-size bed in the loft. There is a sofa sleeper in the living area for extra guests. The bathroom has a shower. Linens and paper produc ts are furnished for our guests, but please bring your towels.

The Lazy Cedars Log Cabin is has a deck with outdoor furniture, and a picnic table and there is a fire pit for your evening campfires under the stars.

Outdoor lovers will find easy trail access to the ATV and Snowmobile trails that lead throughout the area. Ride right from the cabin door through the wilderness of the Upper Peninsula.

While you are relaxing at the Lazy Cedars Cabin you might like to visit the Historic Seul Choix Lighthouse built in 1895 and still guiding ships to the harbor of refuge. Climb the tower, and tour the restored keepers dwelling.

The Seney National Wildlife Refuge is just a few miles north of the cabin. Take a drive on the 7-mile Marshland Wildlife Drive or enjoy the many hiking and mountain biking trails throughout the refuge. Don’t forget your camera.

Take a day trip north to Grand Marais and visit the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, have lunch, or relax on the sandy beach at the Harbor.

Anglers will have fun fishing on the Manistique River near the cabin or on the Fox River in Seney.

Winter lovers will love the 8.5 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails at the Seney Refuge. Wind your way through stands of sugar maple, beech and yellow birch for a very picturesque ski. Trails are great for both the novice and accompl ished skiers. Snowmobilers can ride right from the door to the groomed trail system that leads throughout the Upper Peninsula.

The Lazy Cedars Log Cabin is open year round.

Nightly: $125 per night with a 3-night minimum

DIRECTIONS: From Highway US-2, turn north on M-77 and go 1 mile north of Blaney Park. Turn west on Camp 23 Road for ¼ mile to the Lazy Cedars Log Cabin.
