Lac La Belle Lodge & Cabins is
located on the shores of Lac La Belle, only 15 miles from
Copper Harbor, on the eastern side of the Keweenaw
Peninsula. Lac La Belle Lodge is only 1/4 mile from Mt.
Bohemia, in the Upper Peninsula of MI

This lakeside resort on Lac La Belle is open all
year round
6 rental housekeeping cabins with one or two bedrooms
Four-bedroom vacation house with 2 bathrooms that can sleep
large groups of 10 or more people.
The Resort also has a convenience store with gas and
the Bear Belly Pit Stop (Food to go) overlooking the lake.
Cabins:
Lac La Belle Lodge offers three 2 bedroom cabins that feature
a double bed in each room, with a full pullout sofa in the
living room/kitchen area. The two 1-bedroom cabins feature a
double bed with a full pullout sofa in the living
room/kitchen area. Bed linens are provided, but please bring
your own towels.
The cabins also have satellite TV, grills, and
picnic tables.
Pets are permitted in some of the cabins.
($25.00 extra charge for pets per stay)
All CABINS are NON-SMOKING
We offer a nice beach area for our guests and campfires by
the lake.
All of the cabins are fully furnished with double beds
in the bedrooms and a pullout couch and Satellite TV in the
living area. The kitchens include full size appliances,
microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, utensils, and pots
& pans. The bathroom has a standup shower. Bed linens
are provided, but please bring your own towels.
Cabin #1 is a one-bedroom cabins located
on the lake front.

The Big House
The secluded Lac La Belle Lodge is in a wilderness
area, with paved and well-plowed roads. It has direct water
access to Lake Superior and Bete Grise Bay via the Mendota
Ship Canal. There is a nearby boat launch, and boat and
motor rentals are available at the store. Come up for the
day or longer. Pick up your bait and tackle at the store,
head out to the lake, and see if you can get that big one.
Dock rental space available.
Lac La Belle is an approximate 1100 acre lake with a
water depth of 39 feet, perfect for swimming, waterskiing,
and fishing. You'll find many fish and quiet places. Fish
include walleye, small and large mouth bass, perch, crappie,
northern pike, and muskie.

We offer boat and motor rentals and may have space at our dock for your boat.
Nearby recreation includes golfing, boating,
hiking, bicycling, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling,
cross-country and downhill skiing.

Winter is a wonderful time for a visit to the Lac La
Belle Lodge, only 1/4 mile from the Mt. Bohemia,
the newest and most exciting expert ski hill in the area.
This is the closest lodging to the mountain and a perfect
location so that you can be the first one at the lift.
Lac La Belle Lodge is on snowmobile trail #132 so you
can try out all that snow the Keweenaw Peninsula is famous
for.
To get to the Lac La Belle Lodge take U.S. 41 north of
Calumet to the Lac La Belle Road. This road is just past the
Delaware Mine. Go right on the Lac La Belle road, keeping to
the left at the next intersection. Continue to follow this
road past Mt. Bohemia on the left and Lake Lac La
Belle on the right. Turn right at the next road and go past
the marina for 1/8 mile. Turn right and go to the end of the
road and you will be at the Lac La Belle Lodge and
Cabins.
