The Buckhorn Resort offers 2 spacious lodges and a 20 unit motel, all on the snowmobile & ATV trails. Gas and oil is available at the Buckhorn. The Resort is located on Trail 7, one of the many groomed snowmobile and ORV trails connecting to the network of county trails and the over 2,500 miles of trails criss-crossing the Upper Peninsula

Buckhorn Motel

The 20 unit motel has guest rooms with: 1 queen sized bed; two double beds; or three double beds. There are in-room Satellite TV receivers in each guest room. Each room has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and Wi-Fi

LODGES
The Lodges all have fully carpeted living and dining rooms and come with complete kitchen facilities. Ideal for your large group. Towels and linens are included.
Both lodges have individual satellite TV receivers.

Lodge 1 (1/4 mile from restaurant) has 11 double beds and 2 full baths. Large living area with comfortable seating. Guests staying at Lodge 1 may use the Wi-Fi at the restaurant.

BUCKHORN RESTAURANT
The Buckhorn Restaurant overlooks Hovey Lake. Sit down to a great meal while you enjoy a beautiful view, and then drop into the lounge area for an after dinner drink. In the winter, gather around the fireplace in the lounge while enjoying good company and a view of the snow softly falling on trees and trails.

If you are a cross country skier or mountain biker, the Valley Spur trails are just minutes away. The Buckhorn also is horse friendly, only a half-mile from the Oakwood Trail system.

Munising has over 250 miles of snowmobile trails, cross-country skiing trails from 2 to 12 miles in length, many beautiful waterfalls, scuba diving at the Alger Underwater Preserve, an 18 hole golf course, swimming, boating, hiking, hunting and fishing. Canoe the AuTrain River (rentals available in AuTrain).

Nearby attractions are Grand Island, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, the Glass Bottom Boat Shipwreck Tours, the Pictured Rocks Boat Cruises, and the Christmas Casino.
