Bruno’s Rest Vacation Cabin on a Private Lake

There are two bedrooms on the main level. The lakeside bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and contains a large wardrobe cabinet and a closet. The second bedroom has a double bed with a dresser and closet for your gear. The bathroom has a large 4' shower.
The walkout lower level contains a bedroom with two twin beds, a bathroom with a tub/shower combination, and a washer and dryer. The large recreation area has a table for playing cards, a cabinet full of games, a dart board, and foosball table.
There is also a futon that can be used as a full-size bed for extra guests.
Towels, washcloths, all bedding, toilet paper, and starter supplies of paper towels, coffee, baking needs (flour, sugar, salt, some spices & herbs), and dish soap are provided. Please bring your own bath soap and 'High efficiency' laundry detergent. One side of the two car detached garage is available for guests to use.

Cross country skiers will love the well-known McKeever Hills Trails, only 1/4 mile down the road. For variety, Valley Spur and Munising Ski Trails are minutes away.Two kayaks and a rowboat are included for use on Townline Lake (also known as Town Lake). Enjoy a peaceful paddle around the lake in one of the kayaks or take the rowboat out for a nice boat ride or fish for panfish and pike, delicious cooked outside on the grill. The dock by the shore is ideal for sitting and relaxing and the sand bottomed beach is perfect for swimming. Townline Lake is a no-wake lake but Pete's Lake is a large recreational lake where jet skis can be used and is only 1/ 2 mile from the cottage.
There are over 250 other lakes within a 5 mile radius for a variety of fishing & recreational activities.
Sit around the fire pit by the shore, cook out on the charcoal grill, play horseshoes, or in case of rain have fun with the foosball table, dart board & many DVDs, board games & DVD trivia games provided. Campfire wood is available for a small charge.
Bring your mountain bike for some great trail riding at Bruno's Run, an 11-mile hiking/mountain biking trail that loops through the woods, over streams, and past lakes that are near the cottage.
ATVers will find easy access to the extensive ORV trail system that runs throughout the forest offering an exciting and scenic ride through the forest.
We recommend Midway General Store just 4 miles down the road. You can get the biggest ice cream cones ever seen, beer, wine, frozen pizza, snacks & basic groceries as well as lures, bait, etc.
For dinner out, Camel Riders Restaurant is excellent, on Co Rd 440, or Buckhorn Bar & Grill on Buckhorn Rd, both about 7 miles away.
Munising is only 10 miles north on Highway 13. Hike on the many trails in the Pictured Rocks or take the boat cruise for a view from the water. See shipwrecks on the glass bottom boat tour, have fun on a real pirate cruise, or take a guided kayak tour of the Pictured Rocks and Miners Castle beach. Over a dozen beautiful waterfalls are in the area. . . some can be seen from your car while others are a nice hike through the woods.
