Mountain Biking
Rent a state-of-the art Trek and Kona mountain bile for a self-guided adventure or a guided tour! Copper Harbor has some of the best world-class mountain biking single-track trails I the Midwest. Access to the main bike trail is right across the street from the Adventure Company Shop. The Keweenaw Adventure Company has qualified bicycle mechanics and stocks basic parts an accessories. Trail maps are also available and shop associates are ready to answer all your riding related questions.

Sea Kayaking on Lake Superior.
Take a peaceful paddle on the harbor, head out to the lighthouse, Porter’s Island, Horseshoe Harbor, Agate Harbor or the Montréal Falls. Our daily tours include basic instruction, use of a single of tandem Boreal Design sea kayak, gear, and a professional guide. Our tours are appropriate for all skill levels

Visit this remote island in Lake Superior for a fabulous wilderness experience. Our multi-day tours include use of kayak, equipment, professional guide service, food & meal preparation, tent, camping equipment, park permits and fees, plus ferry| transportation. Tours typically range from 4 to 8 days. Paddle the remote coves and rock formations of this wilderness park.

GUIDED HIKING TOURS of the Keweenaw with naturalist Charlie Eshbach include hikes to the Estivant Pines, Horseshoe Harbor, the mouth of the Montreal River, Lost Lake, Esrey Park, Bare Bluff, plus many other locations. 

Winter in Copper Harbor
We are now offering snowshoe rentals and guided back country snowhoe tours for our winter visitors. Appointment only.
