Superior Shores Motel and Cottage Resort features 7 motel units and 3 townhouse style cabins on the sandy Lake Superior beach, with a view of the Porcupine Mountains in the distance.

The motel units are equipped with cable TV, HBO, shower, table and chairs, a small refrigerator, and a coffee maker. Motel units have queen or full sized beds, bunk beds, or a king unit. Lakeside and lakeview units available. Townhouse style cottages are by the beach with a lakeview and have cable TV, HBO, showers, full kitchen, coffee maker, and toaster. Full sized bed or queen sofa bed in the living area. Sleeping loft upstairs with full or bunk beds.

Grills, picnic tables, and lawn chairs are available for our guests. Enjoy the sandy beach and glorious sunsets over Lake Superior. Wood is provided for a bonfire on the beach where you can have fun roasting marshmallows or just relax under the awesome night sky.

Superior Shores Motel and Cottage Resort is conveniently located near the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, where you will find beautiful scenery or year round recreational opportunities. Take a ride up to beautiful Lake of the Clouds where a short walk will take you to a breathtaking view of this lake surrounded by the Porcupine Mountains. The Porcupine Mountains Downhill Ski Area offers fun skiing and outstanding views of Lake Superior from the top of the mountain.
