 Wandering Wheels Campground is located on Highway M-28, just east of Munising, Michigan near the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

This 440 acre wooded and landscaped park offers you the finest surroundings for a fun filled family vacation.

Wandering Wheels Campground is open from May 15th through October 15th.

There are 440 acres of Walking Trails at the Campground and biking trails at the edge of the park.

Wandering Wheels Campground is open from May 15th until October 15th.

Spacious wooded campsites are available with a choice of hook-ups.
We offer sites with electricity, electricity and water, electricity, water, and sewer, and rustic sites.
Group campsites for up to 20 people with tents.
Camping Cabins with a fireplace are also available.

Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and supervised at all times.

Electric & Water Sites: $35.00 per night

Electric Sites: $30.00 per night

Rustic Sites: $25.00 per night

Camping Cabins: $50.00 per night

Group Sites (up to 20 people, tents) $45.00 per night

All reservations need to be guaranteed by a credit card.
Two night minimum stay on weekends.

Wandering Wheels Campground is located only 5 miles from Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks, Miners Castle, Grand Island Recreation Area, numerous waterfalls, and various lakeside activities. Excellent hiking opportunities.

Recreational activities include canoeing, kayaking, amd fishing in the many nearby lakes and streams in the Hiawatha National Forest, or try mountain biking on the Valley Spur Trails and Bruno's Run for some great outdoor fun.
