The Iron Mountain Super 8 Motel is conveniently located near shopping, attractions, and abundant recreational opportunities. We are across from Bay de Noc Community College and there is a Subway next door. A restaurant and supper club are only 1 mile from the motel. Be sure to try a Pasty, an Upper Peninsula favorite.

Play miniature golf, ride the go carts, or watch the Badwater Ski-Ters water ski show in Spread Eagle, just north of the motel on US-2.

Sports enthusiasts will find us at the heart of the recreational area. Enjoy golfing at one of our 3 area golf courses or go fishing on one of the many area lakes and streams. Enjoy hiking at the Fumee Lake Natural Area, canoeing, kayaking, or bring your boat for water sports out at Lake Antoine or Badwater Lake just north of Iron Mountain, both lakes are large enough for water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing.

Winter visitors will enjoy downhill skiing at Pine Mountain Resort and Norway Mountain, cross county skiing on area groomed trails, ice fishing, and snowmobiling. The snowmobile trail leads right from the door of the Super 8.
