The resort offers 5 housekeeping cabins by the lake at the edge of the Copper Country State Forest.
Open April through November Sportsman's Paradise Resort offers five housekeeping cabins on the shores of Norway Lake. Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, Dish TV, a knotty pine interior, a charcoal grill, and a picnic table for outdoor dining or just sitting and relaxing. A fishing boat is included with each rental cabin and electric trolling motors are available for rent.
Our spacious grounds offer a volley ball net, horseshoes, a basketball area, and a playground with a fort, slide and swings for the children. We have a fire pit by the lake for evening campfires and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Sportsman's Paradise Resort offers 5 housekeeping cabins with two bedrooms in each cabin with a double bed in each room, a futon or sofa sleeper, and a bathroom with a shower. There is a complete kitchen with a full-size appliances, toaster, and coffee maker. Living area has comfortable furniture and color TV. Linens, towels, and paper products are provided. Enjoy a wonderful vacation at the Sportsman's Paradise Resort. A fishing/row boat is included with each rental for enjoying the lake or trying your luck fishing for bass, walleye, crappie, perch, or a stringer of blue gills and we have a fish cleaning table for our anglers to use. Fresh fish on your charcoal grill makes a delicious lunch or dinner. Norway Lake is a 52-acre spring fed lake with sparkling clean water. There are no motors permitted on the lake but we but have electric trolling motors available for rent for $5.00 per day or $25.00 per week.

December * Prices subject to change without notice. The lakefront features two docks and a nice sand-bottomed beach for swimming or enjoying wading in the water or taking the paddleboat for a ride. Our beach is shallow and ideal for the children.
Things to See and Do at Sportsman's Paradise Resort on Norway Lake Enjoy three seasons of wonderful outdoor recreation in the area. Each cabin has a fishing boat for rowing around the lake or trying your luck fishing for Bass, walleye, crappie, perch, or a stringer of blue gills. Fresh fish on your charcoal grill makes a delicious lunch or dinner. There are several other lakes and streams within a few miles that also offer good fishing so you can fish in several different waters. We have a few spots nearby where you can find those delicious morel mushrooms in the spring and we will be happy to direct you to some good spots for picking. ORV riders will have a blast on the back roads . . . head out to a different lake to go fishing, have a picnic, or just enjoy the beauty of the forest. There is easy trail access so you can ride right from the cabin door. Hunting is fantastic in the Copper Country State Forest by the resort. Be sure to make your reservations early. There are several area attractions just a short distance from the Sportsman's Resort. Try Whitewater Rafting at Pier's Gorge near Norway; visit the Iron Mine in Vulcan or the Iron Mining Museum in Iron Mountain; or watch the water ski show at Badwater Lake during the summer. Your hosts will be happy to suggest a day or afternoon trip to visit some of the interesting places in the area.
Directions: Sportsman's Paradise Resort is located in the south central Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Take M-95 north from Iron Mountain, MI for 9.9 miles. Turn right (east) on M-69 for 10.5 miles.
