Housekeeping Cabins on South Manistique Lake, in Curtis in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, just 65 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge. South Lake Cabins are located on the north shore of South Manistique Lake, 1/4 mile west of Curtis. (Map) There are seven modern housekeeping cabins, with1-2 & 3 bedrooms that are fully equipped for your use. Each cabin has a full bath, cooking utensils, dinnerware, large refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, TV, linens, blankets, pillows, picnic table, charcoal BBQ grill, lawn chairs. There is a fire ring with free wood for your campfire. Please bring your own bath towels, dish towels and paper products.
A14' aluminum boat is included with the cabin rental. Extra boat and motor rentals are available. A paddle - boat and swim raft are provided for everyone to use. There is a nice beach for swimming and a dock for sunning and relaxing. There is also a screened fish house and live well for your use.
South Manistique Lake is ideal fishing year round for walleye, northern pike, perch, large and small mouth bass and an abundance of panfish. There are many trout streams nearby. Late May and June are the best times for Pike, Walleye and Whitefish. Perch fishing is good almost anytime. After Labor Day, daily and weekly rates are available. The Manistique Lakes area is great for fishing, hunting, boating, canoeing, hiking, biking, swimming, skiing, snowmobiling, sightseeing and just plain relaxing. The Pictured
