The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds. There is a futon in the living area for extra guests. One bathroom has a tub/shower combination and the second bathroom has a shower. Linens, towels, and paper products are furnished for our guests.

The cottage has air conditioning for your comfort and the furnace keeps you warm and toasty all winter long. There is a three-car garage with a security light in the yard.

Enjoy your morning beverage on the deck while you listen to the birds singing and the bubbling water of the Laughing Whitefish River as it makes its way to Lake Superior.
Marlene’s Rock Farm Cottage is located on 3-acres of land dotted with fruit trees and wild berries. There is 300’ of shoreline on the Laughing Whitefish River, a trout stream known for steelhead and salmon. Fish from shore for your dinner or just for fun. There is a charcoal grill for your outdoor cooking.

Enjoy all the attractions and outdoor recreation the area has to offer, Munising is only 20 miles east of the cottage. Hike in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore or on Grand Island, take a cruises on Lake Superior, go kayaking on the AuTrain River, or visit the several waterfalls.
Marquette, on the shores of Lake Superior, is the largest city in the Upper Peninsula. Located about 20 miles west of the cottage you will find Northern Michigan University, the Superior Dome, fine dining, and shopping. Visit the museums, take a tour of the Marquette Lighthouse, or watch the ore boats load or unload ore near Presque Isle Park.
