Ridge Road Rental Cabin is located in Grand Marais, MI in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Lake Superior, the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, and the Lake Superior State Forest.

Ridge Road cabin has a comfortable living room with cable TV and VCR & DVD players and a sofa sleeper for extra guests. The kitchen contains full-size appliances, a microwave, coffee maker, and a toaster. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

There are two bedrooms in the Ridge Road Cabin. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds and a set of twin bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower. Linens and towels are furnished for our guests, but please bring your paper products.

Ridge Road Cabin has a deck with lawn furniture for relaxing and a grill for your outdoor barbecues. The fire pit in the yard is ideal for roasting hot dogs, s'mores, or just sitting around and enjoying the clean evening air.

Things to See and Do in Grand Marais

Ridge Road Cabin is only 1/4 mile from the picturesque harbor village of Grand Marais where you will find shopping, restaurants, and museums. There is a wonderful sandy beach in Grand Marais for all to enjoy. Sit and relax on the beach, walk along the shoreline, or wade in the water.

Grand Marais is at the eastern entrance to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Enjoy beautiful scenery, numerous hiking trails, Sable Falls, the Log Slide Overlook, and Grand Sable Lake and Dunes. The Au Sable Lighthouse is only a short walk along the beach.

Lake Superior is only a short distance from Ridge Road Cabin.

Recreational opportunities abound with canoeing, kayaking, or fishing the nearby inland lakes and rivers in the Lake Superior State Forest. The Fox River, a Michigan Blue-Ribbon Trout Stream, is only a few miles south of Grand Marais. Hunters will find abundant game in the Lake Superior State Forest. Easy access to ATV and snowmobile trails from Ridge Road Cabin so you can ride your machines right from the door.

The Seney National Wildlife Refuge, home to a large variety of birds and wildlife, is just a few miles south of Grand Marais where you might like to hike, bike, or canoe through the Refuge. Canoes can be rented in Germfask. Enjoy the interpretive programs and exhibits at the Visitor Center or go on the 7 mile Marshland Drive.

There is easy access to the main snowmobile trail from Ridge Road Cabin with plenty of riding in the public lands of the Lake Superior State Forest. Over 500 miles of local trails connect to the snowmobile trail system that covers the entire Upper Peninsula. Enjoy the picturesque ride through the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. There are wonderful groomed cross-country ski trails in Grand Marais.
