Located in the Escanaba State Forest 30 miles southwest of Marquette in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Pike Lake Getaway is a wonderful place for your vacation. The Getaway offers two bedrooms, a loft, and two full bathrooms. There is a Summer Camp by the Getaway that has a living area and an additional bedroom for extra guests.

The Pike Lake Getaway is only 25’ from the lake with easy access to the hard bottom sand beach that is shallow for the children. A rowboat and 13 ½' Old Town kayak are included in the rental for use on the lake.

The living area in the Pike Lake Getaway overlooks the lake and is comfortably furnished including  a flat screen Satellite TV and gas fireplace. The modern kitchen has a dishwasher, and everything you need for preparing your meals. There is a gas grill for your outdoor cooking. The Getaway has a laundry with a washer and dryer.

There is one bedroom on the main floor furnished with a queen-size bed. The master bedroom is on the second level and contains a king bed. There is a full-size daybed with two twin mattresses in the loft. Both upstairs rooms offer a wonderful view of the lake. There are two bathrooms with a tub/shower combination, one bathroom is on each level. Linens, towels, and paper products are furnished for our guests.

The deck overlooks the lake and is a great place to sit and relax and enjoy this beautiful area of the Upper Peninsula.

The Summer Camp has a screened porch, living area, and a bedroom with a double bed. Located by the Pike Lake Getaway, the Summer Camp has a great view of the lake.

Relax in the screened porch and enjoy reading, playing cards,
or just listening to the birds sing in the nearby woods.

Try your luck fishing for Pike, Large Mouth Bass, Walleye, Perch in Pike Lake or take out the kayak or rowboat for a shoreline cruise. There are lots of back roads that are great for mountain biking or take a nice walk through the forest area. The Pike Lake Getaway has easy access to the ATV trails.

Pike Lake Getaway is next to 60 acres of private land that borders on thousands of acres of state forest that is open to the public. Great Partridge, deer, and turkey hunting in the area. A deer migration trail runs within the land. Open for archery, rifle, and muzzleloading season. . . a great spot for your fall hunting trip

The 2000 square foot Pike Lake Getaway is great location for that stunning fall color trip. Don't forget your camera!

The town of Gwinn is only 10 miles from the Getaway for shopping. You might like to visit Marquette on the shores of Lake Superior. Enjoy the museums, a lighthouse, unique shops, Northern Michigan University, the Superior Dome, dining, charter fishing, plus a sailing cruise on Lake Superior.

No Smoking Please. There is an area outside the cabin for those who smoke.
