North Point Cottage is surrounded by 15 wooded acres and is just a few feet from the Lake Superior. The cottage offers three bedrooms and a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The living room has a stone wood-burning fireplace and satellite TV with VCR and DVD players.

The kitchen has full size appliances, a microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and cooking and eating utensils. A porch furnished with a dining table overlooks the lake so you can enjoy this wonderful view of Lake Superior and Grand Island while eating your meals. Patio doors lead to the deck where you will find a gas grill for your outdoor cooking, comfortable lawn furniture, and a picnic table.

North Point Cottage has three bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, the second bedroom contains two twin beds, and the loft has a double bed. Bed linens, towels, and paper products are furnished for our guests.

The shoreline is mixed rock with some sand and is just a few feet from the cottage. There is a boat ramp if you wish to bring you own boat. We also provide a picnic table and a hammock for an afternoon nap.

The fire pit overlooks the lake with unique log stumps for seats. Try some hot dogs cooked over an open fire or those favorite S’mores roasted to perfection over your campfire under the stars.
North Point Cottage is a perfect location for enjoying all the attractions and outdoor recreation in the area. Munising, the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, and Grand Island are only 3 miles from the cottage. Surrounded by the Hiawatha National Forest, the area offers a multitude of opportunities for hiking, fishing, hunting, canoeing, kayaking, wildlife watching, mountain biking, and ATVing. Easy trail access.
Take a Shipwreck Tour or the Pictured Rocks Cruise. Visit some of the many area waterfalls, go charter fishing on Lake Superior, or canoe down the AuTrain River. Hike through the wilderness on Grand Island or ride the tour bus. Bikes can be rented at the Grand Island Ferry Dock . . take your lunch and have a wonderful day riding on the forest trails.
You will find shopping, food, gas, and a casino in Christmas.
Fall color is outstanding as the hardwood trees turn on their blazing colors.
Winter at North Point Cottage Alger County gets outstanding snowfall and the hundreds of miles of groomed trails await all lovers of winter weather. Snowmobile on the exciting trails through the Hiawatha National Forest. Have fun snowshoeing in the woods by the cottage or go cross–country skiing on nearby groomed trails. Try your luck ice fishing and there is ice-climbing for the adventurous. Snowmobile rentals in Christmas. |

Weekly Rentals: June through August 30th: $1,800 per week
September 1st through May: $1,400 per week, Nightly $200 per night (3 day min)
Pets Welcome: $25/day additional for small dogs
Cleaning Fee: $100 per stay
