Kemp's Log Home is located 1 mile from endless snowmobile trails and groomed cross country ski trails; 3 miles from beautiful Chassell Bay featuring swimming in crystal clear water, convenient boat launch, volleyball court, horseshoes and a fishing dock; 11.5 miles from historic Downtown Houghton and the Gateway to the Copper Country; and 22 miles from all night entertainment at the Ojibway Casino in Baraga.

Kemp's Four Season Log Home has been completely updated with new furniture, stainless steel appliances, carpeting, and a 30' dormer with 2 windows overlooking the countryside.

We are located 1 mile from the Chassell-Houghton trail on the old railroad grade with easy snowmobile and ATV trail access. and Access available to the Chassell-Painesdale trail using back roads. Snowmobile and ATV Rentals nearby.

Kemp's Log Home is surrounded by miles of nature trails throughout the scenic north woods.

Whether you're hunting in the woods, shopping the specialty shops of Chassell, enjoying the invigorating fresh air and nature's scenery, kicking back in front of the warm glow of the fireplace or just watching the sun set from the wraparound deck. . .it doesn't get much better than this.

DIRECTIONS: Please follow these directions after you get to Chassell and do not use your GPS.
Take Highway 41 south from Houghton or North from L'Anse to Chassell. Take Painesdale Road west, (turn at blinking caution light). Go west 1.2 miles to the Pike River Road. Turn left (South) and go 1.4 miles. "Heaven in a Log Home" is located on the right.
OR
Take Highway 41 South from Houghton to Chassell. Take the 1st street, Creamery, to your right after the Citgo Gas Station; or go north from L'Anse to Chassell. Take a left onto Creamery Road, which is the road just before the Citgo Gas Station. Go 2 miles on Creamery Road to the stop sign and take a left onto Pike River Road. Go .4 tenths of a mile and the house is on your right.
