Indian Lake is a large lake with fishing for northern pike, smallmouth bass, bluegill, yellow perch, and walleye for a fun day on the lake. Boat ramp nearby if you bring your own boat. This is a large lake and ideal for boating, swimming , and water sports.

There is a large dock on the shoreline for docking your boat or sunning. Charcoal grills and picnic tables are provided for your outdoor cooking and there is outdoor furniture so you can relax and watch the amazing sunsets over the lake or watching the night sky.

THINGS TO SEE AND DO
There is easy trail access for ATVing with many great woodland trails through the Hiawatha National Forest.
Golfers will find the public Indian Lake Golf Course within walking distance while history lovers might like to visit the Bishop Baraga's Mission Site.

Kitch-iti-kippi, Michigan's largest spring, is on the west side of Indian Lake. A self-propelled raft takes you a few feet out on the water to view this deep crystal clear spring in Palms Book State Park.

The historic iron smelting town of Fayette on the shores of Lake Michigan is only a short distance from the resort. Once one of the most productive iron-smelting operations, visitors can explore the restored buildings and see how the iron ore was converted into charcoal pig iron  and shipped to the steel plants on the Great Lakes.

The Seul Choix Lighthouse, Museum, and Gift Shop is located east of Manistique on the shores of Lake Michigan and the Seney Wildlife Refuge is a wonderful spot for spotting some area wildlife.  Hike, bike, or canoe through the refuge or take the 7-mile wildlife drive if you want a more relaxing trip through the refuge.

Sorry, No Pets
