The Gulliver Lake Get-a-Way Vacation Home is a modern log cabin on Gulliver Lake, 10 miles southeast of Manistique in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  A wonderful wrap-around deck and the screened-in porch are perfect for enjoying the woods and waters surrounding the cabin. Nice lawn leads to the dock on the shoreline and the natural area along the waterfront.

The Get-a-Way offers 2 bedrooms with a queen-bed in each room and a large loft with a queen-size bed.  The bathroom has a claw foot tub-shower combination. Bed linens are provided but please bring your own towels.

The comfortable living room has large windows overlooking the lake for a wonderful view of the beauty of the north woods.  There is Wi-Fi for your convenience.  The complete kitchen has full size appliances, microwave, dishes, and cooking utensils.

Gulliver Lake is perfect for fishing, water sports, swimming, and boating. Bring your boat or rent one in Curtis and enjoy this beautiful Upper Peninsula Lake.

There is a dock by the shoreline for your boat or sitting and relaxing.

The Gulliver Lake Get-A-Way is a great spot for visiting some of the interesting attractions in the area.

While you are enjoying the Gulliver Lake Get-A-Way you might like to visit the historic Seul Choix Lighthouse built in 1895. The lighthouse is open daily during the summer and features a Gift Shop with a video room, Research Library, and two museums.  The Lighthouse is still an active aid to navigation and the lantern room is fitted with a modern airport beacon lens. Climb the many steps to the lantern room for an amazing view of Lake Michigan.

The Seney National Wildlife Refuge is 9 miles north of the cabin on Highway M-77 where you will find hiking and biking trails throughout the refuge or canoe or kayak the many waterways. The Scenic Marshland Wildlife Drive is a 7-mile drive through the refuge for those who would like to enjoy all the wildlife and scenic beauty in the comfort of your car.

Other interesting things to see include the Historic Mining Town of Fayette, Kitch-iti-kippi (Michigan’s largest spring), area golf courses, and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising.
