Curtis "Fishin' Tales" Lakefront Cabin is a cozy, two-bedroom cabin on South Manistique Lake in the village of Curtis. We are located only 65 miles from the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. Fully furnished with comfy furniture, a dinette with four chairs, and full-sized kitchen appliances: microwave, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, you will have everything you need for cooking and dining inside or outside.

The cozy cottage is comfortably furnished with two full-sized living room futons facing two sliding glass doors
and huge picture windows to fully enjoy our South Manistique Lake sunsets.

Both bedrooms are furnished with a double bed.
There is a queen-size pullout sofa in the living area for extra guests. The bathroom has a shower.
Bed linens and towels are furnished for our guests

There is a wrap-around cabin deck with retractable awning, outdoor furniture-picnic table, wooden swing and chairs, and a  boat dock.  Sit around a campfire in the evenings and enjoy the dancing fire and the interesting night sky over the lake.

South Manistique Lake is wonderful for your favorite water sports.
Children of all ages will have fun playing in the water.
South Manistique Lake is ideal for swimming, boating, water skiing, tubing, fishing, and wakeboarding
so bring your water toys and have a relaxing vacation at the lake.
Rental paddle boats, fishing boats, pontoons, and sport boats are available at the Fish and Hunt Shop in Curtis.

WINTER FUN

The Curtis area offers wonderful winter fun for the whole family to enjoy.
Great ice fishing right outside the cabin door or go cross-country skiing on the lake in front of the cabin or on the trails in Curtis. Snowmobilers can leave from the door to ride on the hundreds of trails leading all over the Upper Peninsula.

Fishin' Tales Lakefront Cabin is only a short walk to Curtis for shopping and dining.

A short drive will take you to many attractions in the Upper Peninsula. 
Tour the Seul Choix Lighthouse in Gulliver, some say it is haunted, and climb the tower for a great view of Lake Michigan, visit Mackinac Island, Kitch-iti-kipi (Michigan's Big Spring), Whitefish Point, Seney Wildlife Refuge, Pictured Rocks Lakeshore, Soo Locks, Oswald's Bear Ranch, and scenic Grand Marais, the eastern entrance to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Wonderful outdoor activities await you. Try your luck fishing, go boating, hiking, ATV trail riding, hunting, take a fall color tour, go blueberry picking, ice fishing, cross country skiing, or snowmobiling. There is easy access to thousands of acres of public land. Golfers will find a challenge at the Newberry Country Club, a few miles north of the cottage.
Drive north of Newberry to view Tahquamenon Falls, one of the largest falls east of the Mississippi River.

Curtis Fishin' Tales has easy access to the ATV and snowmobile trails for some great riding. 
Designated trails lead throughout the area with rentals are available at the Fish and Hunt Shop in Curtis.

The Curtis Fishin' Tales Lakefront Cabin is located on the east side of South Manistique Lake
where you will enjoy stunning sunsets as you relax at this comfortable cabin any time of the year.

May 1 to September 15: Weekly Rentals Only Saturday to Saturday: $725.00 per week for up to 4 guests
$150 deposit to hold your reservation
Limited Stays available September 16 to April 30.
Nightly Rates $125.00 per night for up to 4 guests (3-night minimum stay)
