The Annual Spread Eagle,Wisconsin Art Show
will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017
9am to 3pm (Rain or Shine)

The show is located at The ChuckWagon, (the Historic Old Log Cabin), in Spread Eagle Wisconsin on Highway US 2, 7 miles northwest of Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Come out and see a juried showcase of original art and fine crafts
The show is held from 9am to 3pm (central time). Rain or Shine.

Enjoy these beautiful works of art with special booths the children will enjoy.
Food and beverages available during the day at the outdoor cook-out or inside the Chuckwagon.

QUEEN BEE BEADS
Claire Hendrickson

Claire Hendrickson from Medford, Wisconsin will be displaying her beautiful wire wrapped gemstone jewelry at the Spread Eagle Art Show on Sunday, July 16th.  Her jewelry is hand made using some type of  hand tool without any kind of heat treatment. The stones are all real earth-mined stones from all over the world and freshwater pearls. The wire used in the wrap is Argentum Sterling Silver made in the United States and considered tarnish resistant.

 

FOLK METAL ART
Dan Recla

Dan Recla from Niagara will be exhibiting his unique metal art at the Spread Eagle Art Show on July 17th. Dan has worked in metal for most of his life and began  making cool things from smashed car fenders and doors, giving it away to his friends.  His father-in-law looked at it and called Folk Metal Art. That began a brand new adventure as he began creating interesting and unusual metal sculptures.  


EMBELISHED FLATWARE
Doris Lee

Doris Lee will be displaying her flatware embellished with bits of bling at the Spread Eagle Art Show on July 17th. When Doris retired from Kingsford High School she found her love for art and learned to do wire wrapped beads. Wanting to do something a bit different, she began embellishing flatware with beads in many different themes. She has flatware representing several NFL teams, the local high schools, plus many other combinations of lovely beads.

 

New artists and old favorites will be exhibiting a variety of art forms including Acrylic, Watercolor, Tole, Mixed Media, and Whimsical Paintings. Art works include Metal Art; Wood Carvings; Intarsia Wood; Wire Wrapped Gemstone Jewelry; Hand Woven Rugs, Placemats, and Purses; Raku Pottery; Wire Sculptures; and Miniature Birch Bark Canoes.

Come out to the Chuckwagon and meet the artists and artisans
and enjoy a juried showcase of original arts and fine crafts.

While you are visiting the Art Show, you can enjoy burgers, hot dogs, and corn-on-the cob cooked on the outdoor grill or you can eat inside the cool comfortable Chuckwagon.
Also serving hand-dipped ice cream cones and cold beverages.
