The Annual Spread Eagle,Wisconsin Art Show
will be held on July 17, 2016

The show is located at The ChuckWagon, (the Historic Old Log Cabin), in Spread Eagle Wisconsin on Highway US 2, 7 miles northwest of Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Come out and see a juried showcase of original art and fine crafts
The show is held from 9 am to 3 pm (central time). Rain or Shine.
Music by the Steeno's.

Enjoy these beautiful works of art with special booths the children will enjoy.
Food and beverages available during the day at the outdoor cook-out or inside the Chuckwagon.

Woven Rugs
Susan Brown

Susan Brown from Daggett, Michigan will be exhibiting her beautiful woven rugs at the Spread Eagle Art Show on July 19th.  She saw her first loom in a friend’s garage in 1983 and fell in love. Susan now has a dozen looms and creates place mats, table runners, hot pads, trivet, purses, and rugs in many different sizes. Susan also does custom weaving  using turning treasured fabric into something special.

Rag weaving is recycling and Susan is a recycler at heart She uses clothing, blankets, sheets, curtains, and whatever she can find and turns them into something new and useful.

Handmade Folk Art and Classic Pottery
Lorrie Wickman

Lorrie Wickman from Porterfield, Wisconsin has been working with clay for over 30 years and won the Best of Show in Pottery at the Escanaba Waterfront Art Show in 2014. She creates artwork that allows her to focus on her love of nature, children, and life in general. She has created many pieces of pottery and jewelry over the years from fine art vases to folk art castles, to beautiful jewelry. Her lovely creations include Folk Art, Raku vases and jewelry, dochroic glass jewelry, wire sculptured fairies and angels, and pottery pieces.

Brandi Heikkila
Stained and Fused Glass

Brandi loves working with glass and creates lovely pieces using stained and fused glass. Many pieces of her artwork include antique glass and mixed media as part of her design. She also does custom design, glass painting, and 3D painting.

Mark Kerr will be displsying his three new canoes
featuring fine wood strip and epoxy or wood canvas construction.

Artists will be exhibiting a variety of art forms including Oil Paintings, Watercolors, Tole Painting; drawings; and Mixed Media; Art works include Metal Art; Wood Carvings; Wire and Metal Jewelry; and Aerial Photos of Spread Eagle and the surrounding area. The show also features decorative Northwoods Wreaths; Wooden Toys; Rocks, Gems & Minerals; Pottery; Raku; Silverware Jewelry; Painted Rocks; Upcycled Art; Reclaimed Wood Furniture; Intarsia Wood; Garden Art; Bird Feeders; Stoneware; Fabric Items; Weaving, Photography;  wood burning; plus much more.

Come out to the Chuckwagon and meet the artists and artisans
and enjoy a juried showcase of original arts and fine crafts.

Food, beverages, & hand-dipped ice cream cones will be available on the grounds.
